About Eclectic Feel

Eclectic Feel is a blog and online magazine  designed to celebrate the simple pleasures of the eclectic… of looking for inspiration and hopefully finding it in the nooks and corners and upturned stones of life… of seeking beauty in the everyday and the unusual… of being who you want to be. Collecting the eclectic – style, beauty, health & wellbeing, homes & design, art & photography, music, books & magazines, DIY & craft, philanthropy & campaigns – if it’s beautiful, inspiring or unusual, find it here.

Eclectic Feel is brought to you by me – Jo. I’m a British-based scientist who loves art, music, travel, fashion, beauty, literature, animals, the great outdoors, the great indoors. I believe in throwing out the rule book and being semi-disciplined, all at the same time. I live in the north-east of England with my boyfriend and our cat, the awesome Miss Dolly Parton. I love collecting random bits and pieces from junkshops, charity shops, auctions, skips. I adore hunting for designer shoes, clothes and beauty products at knock down prices -but I also aspire to living a mindful, clutter free lifestyle.

  1. Thanks for the follow! Someday I’d like to know how to throw out the rule-book AND be semi-disciplined all at the same time! I could have used that advice about umpteen gazillion years ago!
    Cheers!

  3. How nice that you found the blog where I write about photography. If you take the time to browse more than my latest post you’ll find that photography is the only subject I discuss.
That said, I intend to spend some time reading your words and looking at the pictures you have posted.
